Review:
A blend of 92% Syrah with a dash of Viognier and Mourvedre. Classic juice bomb Washington Syrah with an intense Viognier based jasmine and white flower essence in both the scent and flavor. As usual with Doug's great value Syrah, it has intense bittersweet chocolate and coffee notes in the giant, velvet finish.
Classic Washington Syrah in every vintage - huge, mouth coating flavors of black cherry, spice, and a hint of perfume. Velvety and rich, a real value in everyday drinking Washington Syrah. A crowd pleaser, now at its easy drinking prime. - Jean
Deep garnet color with blackberry, licorice and black cherry aromas and tangy cranberry sauce, dusty earth and lavender flavors. It finishes with blueberry and black pepper notes and well balanced tannins. - the winery
A super value from the Horse Heaven Hills Appellation, it has lovely earthy and floral aromas, with black currant and black pepper on the mid-palate. With time to breath, the slightly hot finish dissipates, allowing the milk chocolate notes to shine through. - Bellingham Herald
