Full bodied, big black cherry, spice and mellow, vanilla tinged finish. Easy to enjoy, round and full in the mouth. This wine holds up well in comparison to many $30 Washington Cabs. It's an older vintage and has improved with time in the cellar. and the wine is ready to drink and by no means past its prime. - Jean

The winery owners grow over 2000 acres of grapes and their primary business is selling those grapes to other wineries. I think this wine might have been overlooked in their storage facility. Thus the great price and older vintage.

Our Cabernet Sauvignon grapes come from the first vines Andrews Horse Heaven Ranch planted in 1980. These 25 year old vines produce an intense flavor-filled grape that is extremely fun to work with. The wine from this grape is a big, bold Cabernet that shows black berries, chocolate, espresso beans with a hint of mint and spices. This well balanced wine has soft tannins that leave a nice long finish. - the winery
