Methven Pinot noir Reserve 04
The nose is full of toasty, buttery oak with hints of roasted cocoa beans and espresso. The flavors open with big black raspberry and blackberry, transiting into black cherry, rose petals, sweet pie spices, white pepper, and hints of cocoa and vanilla. The finish is long, rich, and satisfying. A most promising and exciting first release from this new winery.
