Wine Spectator 95 Points
Deep, dark, dense and powerful, a reverberant
mouthful of smoky blackberry, black cherry
and licorice, hinting at pepper and cream as
the finish sails on and on. Gorgeous stuff,
and the tannins are beautifully managed. Best

Dense black fruits, roasted coffee, earthy
aromas and the black berry, smoky flavors,
but the overall palate impact, huge and yet
supple, is what lingers in my mind. Characteristic,
abundant silky tannins. For me the overriding
impression with this wine is its seamlessness

Ripe, lush and gently oaked in the palate.

This is a WOW Washington Syrah! Big perfumey
nose of black cherry liqueur and violets, with
incredible concentration. It’s rare to
find a Northwest Syrah with such good acidity
and balance (and the 13.8% alcohol is refreshing
too!). Lush, rich, and just yummy, Owen’s
small batch of Syrah from Yakima’s Dineen
Vineyard is a prime example of Washington’s
Syrah potential.

Wine Spectator rating 91 points Smooth,
with vibrant acidity to balance the ripe blueberry,
toast and spice flavors that keep singing through

of this Willow Crest Vineyard Syrah. It's a
dazzling display of elegant power, offering
polished red fruits with overtones of peach,
apricot and candied orange. Finishes with a
well-defined tannic edge nuanced with ash and
smoke.
