Intriguing scents of honeysuckle, vanilla toast, and black fruit- flavors are cedary spiced black cherry, well balanced fine grained tannins, long finish with hints of saddle leather, cocoa, and lots of spicy oak. Quite complex for a merlot, this wine would suit someone who finds most Merlots somewhat simplistic. Quite nice, possible to cellar for 2-4 years, but it's drinking so well, I'd have a hard time waiting to drink this one. Highly recommended. - Avalon
