Natalie's Estate Rock Horse Ranch Stable 39 Red - Buttery cherry spice scents with a hint of toast introduce a ready to drink "Tuesday night" red. Sweet cherry and plum flavors are joined by lots of appealing toast, smoky oak, and a rich fruit finish.
The best "value" reds are made from the same barrels as the winery's higher end cuvees - wine that was made for the best bottles but did not fit into the mix. This wine is made from 70% Hillside Vineyard Cabernet, 20% Elephant Mountain Syrah, and 10% Red Willow Vineyard Merlot. All of the wine was processed to go into the single vineyard wines and ended up blended down into the Stable 39 Red. An outstanding value.
