Nicholas Cole Cellars is an artisan estate winery in Walla Walla, Washington
devoted to red wine of exceptional character and quality. Each wine is
carefully crafted and blended for the ultimate balance of concentration,
complexity and grace while remaining true to Columbia Valley terroir.
Production is extremely limited.
Founded on the belief that great wines
are made a “vine at a time,” Nicholas
Cole Cellars is surrounded by estate vineyards. They planted their steep,
south-facing slope in 2001 with all five Bordeaux varieties in addition
to Syrah and will have their first harvest in the fall of 2004. While
the vines mature, Nicholas Cole will continue to source grapes from the
finest vineyards in the state farmed by growers dedicated to low yields
and outstanding fruit expression.
