O-S (Owen Sullivan) Syrah Dineen Vineyard

This is a WOW Washington Syrah! Big perfumey nose of black cherry liqueur and violets, with incredible concentration. It's rare to find a Northwest Syrah with such good acidity and balance (and the 13.8% alcohol is refreshing too!) Lush, rich, and just yummy, Owen's small batch of Syrah from Yakima's Dineen Vineyard is a prime example of Washington's Syrah potential.

This wine is true to Syrah-meaty, smoky, and full. It's a very well-balanced Syrah, with only 13.8% ABV. On the finish, the subtle hint of sweetness is reminiscent of ladyfingers soaked in espresso.
