O'Reilly's Chardonnay 08

O'Reilly's Chardonnay 08 wine review - is an outstanding value Northwest white wine. Made by Owen Roe's David O'Reilly.

Lovely nose and great fruit flavor, starting with hints of butterscotch and toasted nuts in the nose, followed by flavors of honeydew, toasted nuts, pear, buttery oak, and clean spring water. The finish adds hints of tropical mango, pineapple, and passionfruit, then the toasy oak kicks in with hints of barrel toast and caramel. Unusually good for the price, shows what can be done with Oregon Chardonnay fruit in the right hands.
