O'Shea Scarborough Release the Fervor Merlot 06

The O'Shea Scarborough "Release the Fervor" Merlot 06 is one of the most powerful Merlots winemaker and owners Travis and Darryn have ever made—but not overly oaked or out of balance by any means. Rich and powerful, this might almost be confused with a Cabernet. Rich dark fruit, loaded with complexity after complexity mixed with complexity.

Travis and Darryn took extra care when destemming the grapes. It took them almost 6 hours to complete just one ton, as they carefully took out every raisin, stem, and leaf that the crusher/destemmer left behind. Although at the time they thought we were crazy, but in the end the effort was well worth it. 100% Merlot, aged in 1-year old French Oak. 26 cases produced.
