A few blocks of Pinot noir have been harvested, with much of the harvest starting this week.

Dick Shea says that the vineyard had good sugars and acids coming into harvest time, but not as much concentration as desired, until this week, when heat plus time produced enough shrivel in the grapes to heighten flavors and bring all factors to near perfection.
