When Work is Fun – 2008 Oregon Pinots

logo-oregon-2008-250pWhen work is fun…

Most people think I live a charmed life. I get to talk wine all day and I tasted an eight-wine flight before 11 am today. There’s plenty of enjoyment to it. The real fun begins with a Pinot vintage like 2008. With every new bottle or barrel of 2008 Oregon Pinot I taste, the same wave of enthusiasm hits me. I’ve said it dozens of times already – these wines will be FUN to sell.

Enter Bruno Pinot noir 08 from Evesham Wood, one of my favorite Oregon wineries. Bruno is made for Evesham’s Oregon distributor and it isn’t sold outside of the state. Bruno is a true “insider” wine – it is THE best value in Oregon Pinot right now. Now that’s fun.

Packed with juicy flavors of black cherries and raspberries, this is the Pinot we want to be drinking right now. Cola spice and earth accents add character, and we’re making room in our cellars!
