Owen Roe Pinot noir Kalita Vineyard 08
sweet red cherry and raspberry flavors are rounded and softened by a creamy texture. A hint of perfume lingers, drawing you back into the wine.
Arthur and Sherry Kalita planted their beautiful bowl-shaped vineyard in the well-drained hills above the town of Yamhill, Oregon. This wine comes from a steep west-facing hillside rising from 450 feet to 800 feet and is planted to the richly flavored Pommard clone of Pinot Noir. This 2008 wine is very fragrant with dark fruit notes, silky textures and a spicy finish.
Very limited winery release. Fewer than 100 cases made.
