Owen Roe Slide Mountain Cabernet Franc 06 is a serious cellar candidate. Tightly wound, with gobs of cherry candy accented by green peppercorns. The flavors glide over a massively textured body, finishing with white pepper and graphite. This will take a few years to come together, as we've seen with the 2004 Slide Mtn.

This exciting wine announces the emergence of a new superstar vineyard in Washington State. David has worked with the Slide Mountain Vineyard for about 5 years, and has purchased vineyards near it.
A mindboggling wine, made with David's careful attention to detail. You know how good Cab Franc can be when it's well made, and this is perhaps the best example I've ever had from the Pacific Northwest. Extremely limited.
