Review:
2010 Tanzer - 92 points - Vivid ruby-red. An exotically perfumed bouquet evokes candied cherry and black raspberry, with musky herb and dried rose nuances. Sappy, penetrating red and dark berry flavors show very good intensity and pick up subtle cola and sassafras qualities with air. Finishes smoky and very long, with resonating spiciness and lingering mocha and cola notes. - J.R.

2009 Wine Spectator - 92 points - Focused, seamless and generous with its dark berry, tar and floral flavors, gliding easily through refined tannins into the long finish. This has depth and presence. Drink now through 2019.—H.S.
2008 Vintage Tasting Notes
2008 Wine Advocate - 93 points - The 2008 Pinot Noir Estate Dussin Vineyard underwent a native fermentation with elevage in 40% new oak. Dark ruby in color, this exceptionally perfumed Pinot displays an aromatic array of wood smoke, toast, floral notes, black cherry, and black raspberry. This leads to an elegantly styled, spicy, focused, impeccably balanced wine with excellent volume, intensity of flavor, and a lengthy, seamless finish. It merits a minimum of 3-4 years of cellaring. - Jay Miller
2008 Wine Spectator - 92 points - This is broad and ripe, featuring dark berry and smoky, minerally flavors that compete for attention on a light, airy frame. Firm tannins mark this for the cellar, but the generosity of flavor should carry it well. Best from 2012 through 2018. 535 cases made." - H.S.
