Review:
2010 Wine Spectator - 93 points - Ripe, found and vivid, offering a checkerboard of spicy cherry, mint and dark chocolate flavors that wind their way past refined tannins and linger on the open, harmonious finish. Drink now through 2020. - H.S.
2010 Tanzer - 93 points - Vivid ruby-red. Sexy, oak-spiced aromas of black raspberry, anise and potpourri. Supple, palate-staining red and dark berry flavors show very good intensity and focus, with a cherry-cola nuance adding interest. Rich, silky and seamless in texture, with subtle floral and Asian spice nuances coming up with air. Fine-grained tannins add shape to the very long, sweet, smoky finish, which features an exotic touch of lavender pastille. - J.R.

2008 Wine Spectator - 94 points - Ripe, round and complex, delivering black cherry, currant and plum flavors layered with flashes of wet granite, slate and white pepper, which add extra sparkle on the intense, but not dense, structure. Seductive stuff. Drink now through 2018." H.S.
2007 Vintage Tasting Notes
Focused black cherry, raspberry, mineral and spice flavors on the nose. Expansive red and black fruits along with fine-grained tannins compliment a broad, textured palate. Vanilla and Asian spice lingers on the finish. 315 cases made. - the winery
