Detailed Info, Previous Vintage Notes, Reviews:

Previous Vintage tasting Notes New York Times 6-15-05 says: "...the 2002 Powers from the Columbia Valley, our best buy at $16, which had syrah aromas and flavors but little in the way of structure. It tasted like a wine made from young vines, with potential if handled correctly...Dense, meaty and pleasing, but without precision or focus."

Intense, darkly extracted color with complex aromas of black currant, blueberry, boysenberry, and white pepper. Very full-bodied style with flavors of berries, currant, and intriguing spices like cloves and nutmeg. Long, intense finish of sweet ripe blueberries, currants and blackberries.
