Quilceda Creek Cabernet Sauvignon 05 MAGNUM
Highly collectible Washington Cabernet. Of the three previous vintages, the wines received 100 (2002), 100 (100), and 99 (2004) points respectively from Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. The 2005 has been referred to as a better wine than the 04. Hmmm.
Shipping in late March/April.

Quilceda
Creek's founders Alex and Jeanette Golitzin, their son Paul and son-in-law Marv,
produce only 2,500 cases a year of vintage Cabernet Sauvignon. Their Cabernet
has achieved a connoisseur following and is distributed in over three dozen
states and seven foreign countries.
Dense, deep and powerful, a many-layered red that piles on its rich currant, plum, black cherry and peppery spice flavors, finishing with touches of cedar and mint. A glorious, cellar-worthy Cabernet with plenty of superrefined tannins. Best from 2004 through 2015. 2,500 cases made. (HS)
