From the winery: "Grapes from Brunker Hall, Temperance Hill, Melrose, Arcus, and Erath vineyards, aged 10 months in barrel, 10% new French oak. Ripe plum with a ruby edge, Candied fruits on the nose, raspberries, cherries; warm cinnamon with cool anise; and even cooler "blue notes" from blackberries. A hint of leather, even, the much-loved chair kind of leather, polished. And the texture of it all seems like raw silk, smooth but with something to hold on to."
