Review:
The Southern Cascades of Oregon's Rogue Valley is the source for this wine's grapes. Pheasant Hill Vineyard is one of the new sources of the grape that is sometimes touted as the Northwest wine scene's Next Big Thing.
The Ransom Grenache has an intense scent of alpine strawberries, white flowers, and fresh herbs. Fresh strawberries dominate the flavor, touched with a hint of desert herbs and minerals. A smoky sweet finish adds dried flowers and spice.
