Review:
2009 Wine Spectator - 93 points - Supple, refined and distinctive for the purity and clarity of its dark berry, cherry and guava flavors, lingering easily on the light, expressive finish. Drink now through 2019. - H.S.
2009 Wine Advocate - 90 points - The 2009 Pinot Noir Reserve is a blend of all seven vineyards with which Raptor Ridge works. It is free of any greenness while displaying notes of toasty oak, spice box, and black fruits. On the palate it exhibits plenty of depth, layered fruit, a bit of succulence, and good concentration. It should drink well through 2019. - Jay Miller
2008 Vintage
Dark and rich, the Reserve displays equal parts finesse and power. Black cherry and black berry fruit meets mixed spices, toast and mineral. This is a classic Pinot that's really starting to open up. - Marcus
2008 Wine Spectator - 92 points - Supple and appealing for the mineral notes that harmonize with the cherry and spice flavors, lingering nicely. Drink now through 2018. - H.S.
Classic example of Oregon's famous 2008 vintage. Good blend of color, aroma, taste, structure, and texture. Aromas of rose petal and toast, raspberry and wild blackberries, black stone fruit and top notes of cherry. - the winery
