Rasa Vineyards "The Composer" Riesling 09Review: 2009 Wine Advocate - 92 points - The 2009 The Composer Riesling was finished with 1.6% residual sugar. Light straw-colored, it offers up a superb aromatic array of mineral, petrol, spring flowers, citrus, and a hint of tropical fruits. It is essentially dry to just off-dry on the palate due to a pH of 3.02 and 7.4 g/L of Total Acidity. Made in a Kabinett style with a crispness and laser-like focus on the palate as well as outstanding concentration, it should evolve for several years and drink well for a decade. - Jay Miller Blended from grapes from the Dionysus Vineyard and the Bacchus Vineyard, vineyards that share the same terroir and are literally separated only by a dirt road. The combination of three clones, both young and old vines, makes a compelling wine with crisp, vibrant acidity and a delicate sweetness.
