Review: Syrah from a new winery Result of a Crush, made by winemaker Matt Reynvaan (Reynvaan Family Vineyards.) This Syrah might be from a new winery, but it is made in consulting winemaker Matt Reynvaan's distinct style. Plush and supple, it's loaded with dark cherry, and oil-cured olive notes up front, with a subtle undercurrent of ripe peach. It gets bigger and darker with air, adding black plum and a savory meatiness. - Marcus
