Roots Apolloni Pinot noir 09

2009 Wine Advocate - 91 points - The 2009 Pinot Noir Apolloni Vineyard sports a nose of wood smoke, Asian spices, cherry cola, and raspberry. This sets the stage for a concentrated, sweetly-fruited, elegant wine that reveals considerable complexity. Give it 1-2 years to fully blossom and drink it through 2019. - Jay Miller

2008 Vintage Tasting Notes

Man, this is tasty. The creamiest, most full-bodied of the 2008 Roots line-up. A melange of sweet dark berries keeps giving you more. Ideal acidity balances the seductive sweetness and everything's in its place. Pow-pow, a knockout. Like the others, super-tiny production: 50 cases made.

2007 Vintage Tasting Notes

Bright and racy with cranberry and red raspberry throughout. The vineyard is located in the very north of the Willamette Valley. Tiny production. Only 46 cases produced.
