Seven of Hearts Viognier/Roussane 08
Seven of Hearts Viognier/Roussane 08 - Sourced from vineyards near Arlington, Oregon, along the Columbia Gorge, this wine is inspired by the great white wines of the Rhône region in France (as well as by a wonderfully approachable feline friend we made the acquaintance of during our last trip there). Spice-driven fragrances abound with perfumed apricot and orange-blossom from the Viognier and lemon/ginger aspects from the Roussanne. Complex and palate-staining on entry, but with fine zestiness and expansion, especially on the extending finish.
