Seven of Hearts and Luminous Hills Wines

Byron and Dana Dooley make wines under two labels, Luminous Hills and Seven of Hearts. Located in the Yamhill Carlton District of Oregon's Willamette Valley, Byron and Dana moved to Oregon from California's wine country, where Byron trained in viticulture and winemaking and made wine at Williams Selyem. Dana owned a successful artisan chocolate company which she has moved to McMinnville.

Byron and Dana own Luminous Hills Vineyard, planted in 2006 with Pinot noir - the Pommard Clone and the Dijon clones 777, 667, and 115. The Luminous Vineyard is farmed sustainably and has passed the first step towards certification as "Salmon-Safe".

Their motto speaks volumes about them:
