Deep, brooding aromas of violet and spice-shaded dark fruit, with hints of white pepper that echo in the finish. Blueberry, currant, plum and cherry liqueur accents are supported by exotic barrel spice, all of which lingers on the powerful finish. The 2005 Wadenswil has a long life ahead, with acidity and fine tannins to suport cellaring or to pair well with grilled lamb or dry-aged beef. The last of the stunning 2005 Shea Pinots!
