Soos Creek Artist Series #6 06
Drink me, drink me! That's the Artist Series #6 calling, with it's flashy, sweet cherry and berry megaphone of flavors. Creamy red fruit keeps on talking, with whispers of sage, spicy cedar, and white pepper. -Avalon
Made from 34% Champoux, 32% Weinbau, 28% Dineen, 6% Ciel du Cheval vineyards.
Cabernet Franc is my second favorite red grape from Washington State . So we’ve decided to showcase it in this wine every year. I love its combination of floral aromas, spicy fruit flavors and softly tannic structure. This year’s blend is 48% Cabernet Franc and 52% Cabernet Sauvignon. The black fruit flavors of the Cabernet Sauvignon harmonize beautifully with the red fruit character of the Cabernet Franc. It has better density than previous vintages but the same cornucopia of flavor nuances. This year’s artwork for the label is from a painting entitled “Cardinal Rules” by Sarah Rogers of Sundance , Wyoming .- the winery

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate says: "The 2005 Artist Series #5 is composed of 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Cabernet Franc, and 11% Merlot. The nose of cedar, cinnamon, clove, vanilla, red currants, and black currants jumps from the glass. Layered, glossy, and deep, it has enough structure to evolve for 4-6 years. Drink it from 2012 to 2020."
The Soos Creek Artist Series #5 is a full-bodied but supple wine with excellent balance and a cornucopia of flavor nuances. The blend is Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petite Verdot from the Ciel du Cheval, Champoux and Pepper Bridge vineyards.
