Review:
It is absolutely thrilling to be the first to write about a new venture that seems to hold immense promise. - Paul Gregutt
Grenache! I was looking for a way to capture the fact that this wine actually tastes like Grenache, without writing "nice typicity" as I did in my notebook. Very nicely balanced, the pure beam of raspberry is flecked with cherry, black pepper, olive, and grilled herbs, finishing clean and bright. You could sip this before dinner, with grilled salmon, or alongside roasted lamb. - Marcus
Though labeled simply Red, this is 90% Grenache and 10% Syrah, from a single vineyard. The fruit is very tart, rather light, with pretty cherry highlights. Tannins are firm and hint at stem flavors. - Paul Gregutt
Cherry blossom and raspberry lead the way, followed by plum, dried cranberry, and pepper. While this is a very pretty wine, it has structure and length and should age nicely for several years. 116 cases produced.- the winery
