2006 Vintage Tasting Notes

Spindrift Cellars 2006 Reserve has big flavors and a rich scent of red berry and cherry, vanilla blossom, and spice box. A shot silk texture further enhances an already impressive offering, with black raspberry and blackberry fruit prevailing. Aa wine with stuffing, the rounded fruit fruit flavors are accented by sweet toast and spice, and there is a meaty note in the dark, deep finish. - Avalon

The 06 Reserve shows wonderful length and elegance from a warm vintage. Silky aromas of red fruit and toasty oak along with earthy game tones. Full but elegant pallet of berry and oak with acidity gives length to the pallet with a wonderful lingering finish. - Matt Compton
