A Door Closes:
2006 Seven Springs and Anden Vineyard Pinot noirs
Your final chance to own the wines
.

St. Innocent owner and winemaker Mark Vlossak's first Seven Springs Pinot noir was made in 1988. His uniquely comprehensive knowledge of the vineyard and the magical Pinot noirs he spins from it are legendary. He nails these Pinot noirs - every year. The vineyards were sold in February 2007 and he no longer has access to the fruit. Here's your last opportunity to purchase St. Innocent Seven Springs and Anden Pinot noirs- the 2006 vintage.

A Window Opens:
2006 Zenith, Momtazi Pinot noirs

A new era for St. Innocent.

Mark Vlossak expands his lineup of Pinots to include an Estate wine, the Zenith Vineyard Pinot noir 06. He also adds a Momtazi Pinot noir- from an exciting site in McMinnville. Both new wines live up to St. Innocent's extraordinary reputation. Start collecting these future legends - before the world discovers them.

The St. Innocent Seven Springs Vineyard Pinot noir 06 is all about the fruit. Delicate aromas of blackberry, black raspberry, and black currant rise from the glass. Pure, fresh black fruit flavors echo the scent and are joined by creamy toast and white pepper. Expanding in the mouth, seamless, silky tannins create balance and structure.

Anden Vineyard 06
$41.95/$37.76

Anden Vineyard is the lower part of the Seven Springs Vineyard.

St. Innocent's Anden Vineyard Pinot noir 06 erupts from the glass with aromas of ripe, black-fruit jam, cream, and pie spice. Sweet, round blackberry, black currant and black cherry flavors are complemented by spicy oak and black pepper. A rich, creamy toast and lingering sweetness continue through the finish, with fine tannins providing structure. The winemaker suggests the 06 Anden will improve for 10-12 years.

Zenith Vineyard Pinot noir 06
$38.95/$35.05

The St. Innocent Zenith Vineyard Pinot noir 06 says "hey, check me out!" The most open and forward of the new 06 St. Innocent Pinots, it has huge, expressive aromas of savory sweet bacon and grilled plums. The wine opens up on the palate with ripe red cherry notes and exotic cardamom and clove on the finish. Layered hints of black currant explode throughout, then savory notes reappear. The Zenith Vineyard, formerly O'Connor, is St. Innocent's estate vineyard. A delicious new offering. The winemaker suggests this wine is best enjoyed in its youth, it will develop more complexity over 5 years.
