From the winery: She's Big, She's Bold and She's Beautiful...and the wine is damn good too!

Only the most outstanding fruit went into our first Columbia Valley Syrah to create a huge, yet still balanced wine. In its youth, reminiscent of our 2002 Syrah. Cook some lamb and enjoy now, or better yet hold her for a few years. (Get it while you can - with the extremely limited production and significant presales, it is going fast!).

Detailed Info, Previous Vintage Notes, Reviews:

In the nose, the wines has characteristic meaty, toasty notes underlying the dominant black cherry scent. The flavor is lush and soft, with initial flavors of black cherry and black berry, followed by an explosively spicy hit of blackberry pie. The wine is generous and concentrated, meaty, dense, with full bodied flavors and hints of smoke, licorice, and cherry liquor. Everything is just as it should be in this wine, it has a copious amount of fruit, yet the balance of fruit, tannin, and acid is exceptional. We predict great reviews for this new wine and eagerly look forward to Zach's future wines. 100% Syrah Appellation: Walla Walla Valley Vineyards: Morrison Lane, Les Collines & Seven Hills
