Cofermented with 2% Viognier, a light scent of black fruit complements beautifully balanced black cherry fruit and big, well integrated, pleasing tannins. The time in the cellar has allowed the big tannins to soften and integrate, while the fruit is still fresh tasting. Another bargain from this winery with an unusually long aging program and very reasonable prices. -jean
Dusty hints of rose, earth and candied orange glide from the glass. Wild blueberry, plum and fig intertwine with tones of oak and spice on the palate before ending in a frenzy of leather and floral flavors on the finish. -the winery
