Angel Vine Zinfandel Walla Walla Les Collines Vyd 09
An impeccably well balanced red wine, the 08 Les Collines Zinfandel is a sexy steal. Our most popular Zinfandel, hands down.
Sweet, fresh, and juicy, its succulent scents of black cherries and sweet spice are matched by creamy black cherry velvet with hints of leather, coffee, and anise. The '08 Les Collines simultaneously delivers fat, classic Zinfandel fruit and exuberant, lively, food-friendly balance.
Deep black cherry. Decadent. The winemaker calls it "large-scale" - we call it Extra-Large-Scale. We love this wine - and the price makes it one of the best deals we've found.
Nice ruby color with a nose of fresh red fruits melded with spicebox. Rich cherry, leather, and earth flavors reveal a clean, full finish. European? Feminine? Words not usually associated with Zinfandel but could, in context, describe this wine. A nimble middle-weight at release, should gain density as it ages. - the winery
A legal dispute with another winery led to a change from the winery's first name, "Three Angels" to "Angel Vine".
