These are 2nd generation, Salmon Safe, LIVE certified, Organic Estate-grown vineyards.

"Made from 80% old vines, sourced entirely from Tyee’s Estate Grown vineyards. Hand harvested and gently whole cluster pressed. Fresh floral apple, melon, citrus, pear characteristics with a smooth, slightly spicy minerality and a long finish. Only 300 cases produced." - the winery

Tyee wines are made just down the road from Avalon's store in Corvallis. Made entirely from estate-grown grapes, this Gris is full of ripe citrus, apple, and melon flavors with notes of honey. Its dry, crisp finish makes it an excellent companion to Northwest cuisine, especially wild salmon and other fresh seafood.

Tyee's Pinot Gris has ripe citrus and melon aromas with crisp, rereshing flavors and nutty, spicy, smoky notes reminiscent of roasted hazelnuts. The grapes were sourced from Tyee's own Beaver Creek Vineyard, Croft Vineyard, and Helmick Hill Vineyard in Monmouth, OR. 1325 cases were produced.
