Review:

This vintage is 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc and 5% Syrah. A dark ruby red wine with aromas of bright fruit, smoke, spice and earth. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied.

Food pairings This is a fun wine for a dinner party (particularly for anyone who went to Gonzaga)and pairs well with hearty winter dishes like lamb chops. I had this last night with a cozy beef stew enhanced with parsnips and carrots to match the sweet fruit notes in the wine.
