This complex yet elegant Syrah comes from the renowned Boushey Vineyard in the cool upper Yakima Valley (900-1200 feet) of Eastern Washington State. The owner, Dick Boushey, is one of the most reputable growers in Washington State, serving for years as a leader in Washington’s wine industry.

The Verve Columbia Valley Syrah 06 is richly flavored with dark, even black plum and berry fruit, with hints of sweet incense, dried tobacco, and smoked meats. The finish is long, with generous chocolate, and ample tannin and acidic structure to maintain excellent balance. - the winery
