Review:

This summer blend has bright citrus notes and fresh, vibrant acidity. Floral aromatics and a slight savory, herbal quality. This year's composition is different than last year's. It is 90% Pinot Blanc and 10% Auxerrois.

2010 Vintage Tasting Notes

The fruit for this wine comes from established, dry farmed vineyards located throughout the valley at higher elevations giving the fruit clarity and edge of acid that we hope for in our wines. During the press cycle the fruit was pressed a touch firmer than typical to extract a bit of the phenolic compounds from the grapes to act as a natural preservative and enhance aromatics. The resulting wine is floral, with notes of lemon, white peach, green apple. The palate is crisp, bright and has a density to it giving a grip to the finish.
