Super-balanced dark berries and cherries come together with lavender, dried thyme, and a soft spice that accentuates the sweetness on the middle of your tongue. Surprisingly accessible right now, but age-able for several years. Westrey's Oracle 08 is a revelation.

A knockout wine from Oregon's superstar 2008 vintage. The other Justice Vineyard designates sell for $50, making this a remarkable value. Flashy black fruit perfume leads into a burst of blackberry and huckleberry, plus mouthwatering acidity ideally balanced by a lingering sweetness of fruit and dried herbs. Like the best 08 Pinots, Justice 08 has fantastic structure and should be decanted if you're drinking now. So fun to have in the cellar!
Westrey Pinot noir Justice Vineyard 08 is the fifth vintage of this single vineyard Pinot noir made from Bethel Heights' Justice Vineyard fruit.
Gorgeous. Vinous, spicy aromas of dark berries and black cherries pull you into to this seductive Pinot. An expressive array of creamy mixed berries and cherries is decorated with sweet earth, nutmeg, and minerals on the finish that just doesn't quit. Both complex and easy-going, this Pinot was an easy choice for Avalon's Reserve Pinot Noir Club. One of the standouts of the 2007 vintage.
The old vines of Oracle Vineyard produced a beautiful 2007 Pinot. Raspberries and blueberries prevail in the scent and flavors. There's a bit of rich spiciness accenting velvety tannins. A rustic dark note, characteristic of the vineyard, adds depth. Drinking well with food now, expect several years of cellaring to add even more complexity.

Westrey' Abbey Ridge Pinot noir 07 is full rich and savory aromas that guide you to a bright palate of cherry, accented by wild strawberry and blueberry. A thread of fine herbs weaves through the wine, perfectly complementing the crushed raspberry note and delightful savorty/salty combo on the finish. The 07 Abbey Ridge has strong varietal purity, is a standout of Oregon's 2007 vintage, and an exceptional value.

Bosch pear and peach scents are accented by a hint of spice. Flavors open with Meyer lemon, then more peach and stone fruit, and a delightful Chablis-style minerality in the finish, softened by just the tiniest hint of buttery, still-warm croissant. Great value for such a special Chardonnay. - Jean
The Westrey Chardonnays are made by considering the scents, flavors, and textures of each barrel of Chardonnay in their vintage. The two wines are then blended from those barrels, with each wine's style based on the characteristics that Amy and David want for the wine.
