2010 Wine Advocate - Winderlea’s 2010 Pinot Noir Meredith-Mitchell shares its sense of tartness and invigoration – here of prominently seedy elderberry and cassis – with most of its stable mates, though in this instance the palate impression is not only a bit sharp but also a bit slight; nor should the word “sharp” be taken to imply a focused finish. Basil and incense mingling with high-toned dark berry essences certainly get one’s initial attention, and I’d like to think that with some time this bottling will flesh out a bit and become more harmonious. - David Schildknecht
