Woodinville Wine Cellars, established in 2002, has a special relationship to French wine and cuisine. The CEO, Stan Barrett, recently published "Fantastic Foods of the World" with Marc Pingry.

We recently spoke with winemaker, Sean Boyd. "The 2010 and 2011 crops are "real winemaker's vintages". The two years were similar in coolness, so the challenges are similar. If you have the same crop year after year, there is no challenge."

"This is one of the coolest vintages I've worked with. It's a bit of a nail biter, but then we do it every year. Right now the forecast is for the high 90's which will bring things around quickly."
