Review:

St. Innocent's Mark Vlossak makes this wine. Intense rose perfume and expansive, round, sweet red raspberries and cherries. The fruit is balanced by an undercurrent of earthy minerality and spice in the finish. - Jean

2009 Wine Spectator - 92 points - Lithe, with a welcome sense of transparency to the cherry, caramel and sandalwood flavors, mingling gracefully on the long, appealing finish. Best from 2013 through 2019. - H.S.

2009 Wine Advocate - 90 points - The 2009 Pinot Noir Estate was aged in 28% new French oak. Medium ruby red in color, it sports an appealing nose of cedar, spice box, floral notes, black cherry, and black raspberry. In the glass it opens to reveal plenty of spice, savory fruit, some elegance, and a medium-long finish. Drink this well-balanced effort over the next 5-7 years. - Jay Miller
