Smoke and earth aromas with hints of caramel. Deep red color. Great body and "fat" mouthfeel with ripe fruit flavors. Sweet cherry fruit on the mid-palate and hints of chocolate, coffee, earth and spice. This wine tastes great, so feel free to drink it all by itself. All the grapes were harvested from Winesap Rd. (Zerba's Estate) and Patina vineyards in the heart of the rocky Walla Walla floodplain west of Milton-Freewater, Oregon.
