The Amity Vineyards 2007 Eco Wine Pinot noir is both organic and sulfite free. Amity was one of the first wineries in the country to actively promote a Pinot noir that was both organic and could be enjoyed by wine lovers with sulfite sensitivity. And it tastes good. It was the first "sulfite free" Pinot noirs with full bodied flavor.

The Amity Eco Wine Pinot noir 07 has a pleasant aroma of berries and red fruits, predominantly cherry and cranberry, with a hint of spice and vanilla. In the mouth it is smooth with a long pleasant finish. It is ideal for pastas, black beans, fish, chicken and picnic fare.

Detailed Info, Previous Vintage Notes, Reviews:

From the winery: "Amity Vineyards released Oregon's first organic, sulfite free Pinot noir in 1991. The challenge was to make a wine about which people say "This is good Pinot noir", not "This is good...for a sulfite free Pinot noir." So, we chose a vineyard with a proven track record for quality fruit that also happened to be organic. "I was convinced that with good grapes and careful cellar practices we could get a good Pinot noir in the bottle without sulfites and we did!", says winemaker Mryon Redford.
