MORE INFORMATION
From the winery: Amity is an American pioneer in dry Gew?rztraminer. We made our first dry Gew?rztraminer in 1977 and have been making it ever since. Ours is one of the few dry Gew?rztraminers in North America with sugar less than 1%. We are also, since 1992, the largest producer of Gew?rztraminer in Oregon. Our Dry Gewurztraminer has also been recommended by Connoisseurs Guide, the Underground Wine Letter, Northwest Palate Magazine, Wine Press Northwest and Robert Parker's Wine Advocate.

The 2000 vintage follows our tradition of "Alsace in America". It is a rich, dry wine with a spicy, floral nose. It is a wonderful companion to Chinese and Thai dishes as well as salmon, smoked foods and turkey. 656 cases were bottled in April 2001. The alcohol is 13.1% by volume; the acidity is 5.8g/l; pH 3.26; and the residual sugar is 1.1g/l.
