From the winery: "Aromas of fresh ripe apples and Asian pears, limes and melons, with overtones of vanilla bean and toasted hazelnuts. The mouth-filling flavors deliver lime, citrus blossoms, and ripe melons. The texture is very creamy, the mid-palate strong with fruit sweetness and the finish long with ripe pear-like flavors."

From the winery: "This millennium release is one of a kind. It is the New World's first Blanc de Blanc made entirely from small cluster Dijon clone Chardonnay. The grapes were grown in a select, high elevation block of the Knudsen Vineyard. A portion of the base wine was barrel fermented and then malolactic fermented."
