Detailed Info, Previous Vintage Notes, Reviews:

The Grapes
Seven vineyards were used in this wine, each contributing an important character. The sweet cherry notes come from the Wahluke Slope in the north, the rich blackberry element comes from the Red Mountain area, and the hint of blueberry comes from our own Outlook Vineyards. The final blend is 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Franc.

The Appellation
The Columbia Valley appellation recognizes an area of the Columbia Basin stretching from The Dalles, Oregon, north through Washington to Lake Roosevelt and east to the Idaho border. The area is characterized by low rainfall, long daylight hours during growing season and sandy soils.

The Winemaking
Decades growing the trees, years growing the vines, months watching the wine in barrels and hours blending. A few minutes in the glass and but a moment on the tongue, yet this labor of love lingers through a delicious finish.

Food Pairings
Pair with thinly sliced prime rib of beef in toasted Ciabatta, Jamaican Allspice Au Jus and mashed potatoes with scallions, butter and browned Pancetta.
