Canon de Sol
This is a dark, intense Syrah with aromas of violets, oak and raspberry jam. The flavors start out a bit introverted then grows into a full, complex mouth feel. Rated "Outstanding" in Wine Press Northwest's Syrah judging."
2004 Syrah was released in March, 2007.
From the winery: "Childhood friends Victor Cruz and Charlie Hoppes combined to produce the top Syrah in our tasting (no surprise, as the 2000 vintage of this wine won Best of Show at last year's Northwest Wine Summit). It's a big, bold, dense wine with beautifully spicy fruit, well managed oak, and a long, rich finish."
