Wine Spectator 93 points
Firm, crisp and lightly chewy, wrapping its distinctive currant, sassafras and fig flavors in fine tannins and letting them reverberate through the light finish. Drink now through 2018. 234 cases made. - H.S.
An elegant and sensuous Pinot Noir, with ripe, rich, and complex red fruits of strawberry, cherry, red currant, and mixed berry compote. Add to this the accents of black tea, rose petal aromatics, pepper, spice, and potpourri, and you sense unusual complexity. The concentration and balance are close to perfect, with breadth, three dimensionality, and length filling the mouth. Texture is amazingly creamy, velvety, and yet firmly supported by an elegant structure of tannin and acid. Corral Creek often is this balanced and laser focused, but rarely do we see this size of palate and length. Lovely, delicate, and sensuous, but rich. May be the best Corral Creek we’ve done in 14 years. - the winery
