Red Wine and Chocolate. What more does a person need? Now they are available in one product.... CHOCOLATE WINE!

Chocolate infused wines are making a huge impact on the wine scene. Though they initially thought their target consumers would be younger women, the creators of the Chocolate Shop label have been surprised to discover that older and more experienced wine drinkers are buying it as well. Generally a mixture of a Bordeaux red blend, sugar and chocolate, the possibilities are endless.

The popularity of chocolate wine is not limited to the United States. There's a growing market in the U.K. as well as Australia. Tempranillo from Spain is used for the base wine in the U.K. and in Australia they use Shiraz.

Precept Wine, the creators of the Chocolate Shop label, are continuing to experiment with new flavors......white chocolate, caramel, even something with Chardonnay.
